WAVES of CHANGE – DEFEAT ENEMIES, PROTECT SEAS
In collaboration with UBISOFT’S Skull and Bones, Oceana presents “Waves of Change” a groundbreaking initiative to tackle the ocean’s plastic pollution crisis while embarking on thrilling adventures in the gaming world.
From 18-31 March play Skull and Bones to raise money and conserve the world’s oceans with Oceana.
Fundraising goal:
- At the end of the period, UBISOFT will give out the equivalent amount in euros raised by players to Oceana – up to 300 000 EUR!
The mission:
- Venture into the immersive realm of Skull and Bones and join the battle against formidable foes across the high seas during 2 weeks, gamers unite with content creators in a quest to rid the virtual ocean of its digital threats;
- For every La Peste minions defeated in Skull and Bones during this period, a donation will be made to Oceana to support their mission in restoring and preserving marine ecosystems;
- The bigger the enemy, the greater the reward – Every player automatically participates by playing the game to collect points – defeat La Peste for the bigger rewardd:
- Skrimishers – 1 point
- HeadHunters- 5 points
- La Peste – 30 points
- At the end of the period, UBISOFT will give out the equivalent amount in euros raised by players to Oceana – up to 300 000 EUR!
- A dedicated website – Players will be able to visit UBISOFT’s dedicated website be informed of the money raised, find out more about the association or even donate by themselves. Website’s address is – https://www.wavesofchange-charity.com (online on March 18 10:00 AM CET);
- Stronger together – Use the same Colors & Flag to let other players know you’re part of the initiative. Preserving the oceans is a battle we all have to fight, so let’s work together!
- Each player who will be connected to the game between March 18 to 31 will receive a reward: Ship Vanity – The Pioneer Set!
- If you want to participate, all you have to do is play the game, nothing more. But feel free to spread the world! UBISOFT is always happy to engage with partners and creators eager to share UBISOFT values!
