Silent Death

A shadow has been spotted lurking in the waters below, a prowling threat from the depths…

People whisper of a bloodthirsty predator that swiftly strikes at ships and leaves no survivors. It will take a strong vessel and a fearless captain to uncover what manner of beast terrorizes the region… and come back alive.

Tips:

• It is better to be in the party of 3 players, as then you will get better rewards by receiving more loot – if your friends are not playing, invite to party random players, or join random party.
• Use Stormwoven Symphony armor – Holding brace charges up a sonic attack, dealing up to 6000 damage to surrounding hostiles, up to 125m away when fully charged. This armor is good for all sea beasts.

Quest info:

• Bounty Board Kingpin Contract
• Unlocked on 2024.06.18 (June 18 2024, Season 2 Week 4 – probably later also, there is no info about that at the moment)
• Will last until 2024.07.08 (July 8 2024, Season 2 Week 6)
• Kill sea monster Mega Lestari
• Mega Lestari spawns between The Oubliette outpost and Grande Falaise outpost

Steps:

1. Go to the Bounty Board
2. Accept “Silent Death” Kingpin bounty board Contract
3. Sail to the marked destination
4. Kill Mega Lestari:
   • You have 30 minutes to complete the quest
   • If you will die 4+ times and you will be solo, quest will be cancelled, as you will be teleported to Outpost.
   • It is better to kill Mega Lestari in the group of at least 5 ships. Also it is better to be in the party of 3 players, as then you will get better rewards by receiving more loot.
   • To get the loot you don’t need to activate the quest – you need to join the event and attack Mega Lestari at least 1 time (not always, but it is better if you will attack it at least 1 time). If you are in the party, and your party members are attacking Mega Lestari, you need at least just to join the event.
   • When you started to attack Mega Lestari – use Call for Help action, as after PATCH 2.1 players easy can teleport to event destination and thus it is more possible that someone will join your attack.
   • If you hear the sound of the water bumps, then Lestari is probably under you and he will attack you – immediately leave the place where you are at that moment. If Lestari attack will be successful, he will try to attack you again because he knows that you will have problems to recover the full HP. In essence, he will try to hunt you several times, so immediately try to get away as far as possible until you see that he is no longer following you.
   • This monster is not so easy to kill – it takes a bit of time and patience.
5. Take the loot from water – Mega Lestari rewards:
   • Lestari’s meat
   • Monstrous Tooth
   • Lestari’s Skin
6. Complete the quest – talk to Sea People Huntmaster in Lanitra outpost
