S: Quick to declare victory, are ya? Those Plagues bastards continue to attack my convoys heading west.
B: Mighty Scurlock can’t protect his own ships, eh? Tsk. I wonder what would Mr. Teuling say?
S: Careful now, Teuling’s displeasure falls on you as much as it does on me.
B: So you keep reminding me. With the assistance of a most enterprising rogue, it was our forces who beat the plague wanker back. Not yours.
S: You underestimate the poxed bastard, just like you underestimate me. Caution is what keeps a pirate alive in these waters. Not foolhardiness. La Peste is a curse not easily broken.
B: *scoffs* All you’ve done is cowered in your den. Meanwhile, Mr. Teuling’s pockets have been lined with cobwebs. Our benefactor’s not pleased, Scurlock… Not pleased at all. Consider this an official warning. Philippe La Peste is on his last legs, and we’ll murk the bastard, with or without your help.
S: And let me remind you: your lord and savior Teuling ain’t here. Last I checked, I’m still the bloody Kingpin of Saint-Anne…
